? Multiple accounts at the same mailbox location w/only box number difference

The area where i stay only have only 3 mailbox locations that is within reasonable driving time. I plan to run about 10 stealth accounts that are all registered with different account details and selling different products.

Since I only have 3 available mailbox locations for 10 accounts its inevitable that if I want to run more than 3 stealth accounts at a time, Ill have to open 2-3 mailbox accounts at the same location.

Will the same address with different box number be enough differentiation to avoid getting linked?
What are other ways to handle this?

Personally I would not risk that. You may be able to get mail forwarding services that you can use.

Just on a personal note, I have a couple of po's in the same office that I have used for stealth - just varying up the postal code (or zip code) for them along with different box numbers of course. US and Canada doable - UK for sure, it's dangerous for manual review of accounts

I have read the Stealth Book BUT I really don't understand how you could have multiples if you have the same ip address or are you constantly changing the ip address. Doesn't ebay get suspicious?

I run 100s of my own selling accounts and seldom ever get the same ip on them and never an issue.

Coming up on 3 years to have not lost an account or had one of my own sellers accounts limited.

Keep good records and you will be fine.

I've read the book as well. So when you log in, do you change ip's everytime? I ask because I'm up and running but don't want to have ebay find another account with same ip address. I am keeping notes of the ip's I have now and used before but I'm still a little confused.....

You pretty much answered your own question roseann, it's all about keeping all data from each account separate which includes cookies, IP, Names, ect.

As long you change IP's and make sure that no IP has been used on another account you will do fine.

Dial up and 3G dongles: the easiest way to change ips without worry. Otherswise Keep track of the ip in excel if you want and on each new login just grab the ip from IPBurger.com and type it into the "search" box in excel. If it doesn't pop up your good to go, record in on a cell and continue. I keep the sheet in the cloud and use my iPad to access and edit since each user account is on a different computer user name.

Not wise. Been proven in the past months that accounts linked like this have faced permanent suspension.

I went over the accounts with the user who had the issue.

We concluded it happened because he had fiddled with the addresses & made these 'variations'.

To successfully run multiple stealth accounts, you would look at a different method.

Let me get back to you with the thread in question. Just so you know I am not giving this info lightly.

Of course they do - always ID needed
