How to make a listing to appear a few hours before auction ends?
 

Just a bit of curiosity really.. I have noticed some sellers make their items to appear only 3-4 hours before their auction ends. I have been scratching my head how do they do that :confused: I know you can make 1 day auction if you have 10+ feedbacks and on a new account it may take a few hours for you listing to appear. But those accounts I have seen are a few years old with 60+ feedback and on 1 day listing item will appear instantly after listing.

Anyone knows how is it done? I list my items on buy it now only but I am dying to find out how to control when your listings becomes visible to others. :mod:

not sure but i know new sellers can take up to 12 hours to show up..

Might be that the item is being reviewed by staff for any problems.

Ive had it once or twice with items that are higher end and on newer accounts.

Is the risk of this item being phake great? If they are that may be why.

I don't think it is even possible, can u post a link to one that you are talking about? It just doesn't make any sense!

@John11uk, possibly has to do with keywords, free shipping, and seller status - might as well experiment it out....I dont foresee the strategy (if it exists) coming out...

I know how it's done.

Tried and tested.

Basically when you list something say 3 days. It will take some time for the product to show up on eBay.

Every time you revise the item you will no longer see the item when you search for it.

After how long does the item appear? This depends on the category of the item.

When I've done this it's taken on average four hours for the item to show up

give us item numbers so we can see how they played with keywords. Sometimes people list 1 day auction and they take more than 12 hours to show up if keywords are high risk

If your listing does not appear immediately on Ebay then you listed VERO item.

What proof of this stanislav? I have listed non-vero products all the time and they don't show up immediately...
