Successfully Reinstated Account But..
 

OK. So here is what happened. Created my very first own stealth account. Waited few weeks and browsed around. Listed my first item ( used rc helicopter ) then few hours later got the new MC999.

I called ebay next they and the rep asked me simple questions such as what are you going to sell? how are you going to ship? Will be you selling them on another platform?.

After answering all the question she said my account was reinstated. then I log in and try to relist the item that was previously cancelled on my unsold folder then I get the message saying I dont have any limits left.

Then I realize it says " you can sell up to 0 items or up to $0.00 per month, whichever comes first." on my selling account.

I am little confused about this one. If my account is reinstated which it is ( got the email and everything) why cant I still sell? Is it a glicth? Should I call eBay again?

Users get this zero items with zero limits if there is no paypal attached to the account.

Have you attached & verified a paypal. How will you get your funds otherwise?

sometimes they give you the 0/00 limits because they need to verify more information. Under the selling limits, there's a link to request higher limits. When you click on it there is an option to call ebay.

Before you call, make sure you know all your stealth info and have your paypal account linked and confirmed. I sometimes have it verified sometimes don't. I normally have a bank attached just not confirmed yet...

But they will ask database questions. if you pass, they will give you regular selling limits.

Also.. there is a chance that they linked your account to another.. that's also why they give you 0/00 limits .

Hi guys thank you all for the replies. My paypal is verified and linked to my account.. I used TextNow forwarding service. I guess I will need to call them again. I dont get how the account was reinstated if i still cant sell

All verified and linked...ok...yes you likely have to call and have limits placed on...perhaps the agent did not flag the account properly

UPDATE.

Ok. So here is what happened. I waited 2 weeks to call them to see if the selling limit would get back to normal. No luck. Today, I decided to call. I explained them that my account was already " verified" and " reinstated" but still cant sell. Then the lady transferred me to someone else.

For the first time, I spoke with an actual American on the phone with eBay. The guy was cool. Asked me what I was going to sell. I said used household items and textbooks. He bought it and said I will now have 100-$5000 selling limit on my account.

This is my first stealth with increased selling limits so feeling happy :)

After what just happened, I feel like this new mc099s can be used as an advantage. I am going to make few stealth accounts and intentionally try to get the " we need to speak to you" mc099. I would follow the same pattern with this account and see if I get more accounts with 5k limit.

There are few people who intentionally get the mc999 right away and get it lifted to sell heavy...

Followed the same procedures no mc999s yet. That's crazy. You get one when you don't want and you dont when you do want them.

I opened up a stealth account. Within 24 hours I listed a college textbook. Its been 2 days and still running.

I will try more on this one and let you guys now.
