Should I confirm Bank Account on UK paypal
 

Hello

I have a UK stealth PP account that has the 1900 pounds limit lifted. PP stealth account is not in my real name. I have been selling on it for a while and I want to withdraw funds.

1. I have added a UK HSBC account and I was able to transfer some money right away (yeah)
2. now paypal is suggesting I should also 'confirm my bank account'

I went on paypal and clicked on 'Complete Bank Setup' but I stopped. This is one of my best account and I don't want to break it.

Is the complete Bank setup step necessary to use the UK paypal account? Is it safe with Stealth?

Yes do confirm it, it will lead to a stronger PP account.

Is this a current account or a savings account?

Thanks. It is a current account from HSBC.

Ok - I am doing it now. It seems pretty straightforward.

I was spooked at first by the difference of UK vs US english. I thought paypal was going to mail me something.

If the account is already verified, it won't make the slightest bit of difference.
