No more Trading Assistants = No Problem.

Before I say "so far their hasn't been any problems and all is going well"..

Are their any concerns with the hiring of a person who holds a real ebay seller account, to sell for me? Would go like this-> All communication being done through email. The seller does not ever hold the products. Pictures taken and all exif data removed then, uploaded to the seller's email. Seller lists the items and, after the sale and funds deposited into sellers paypal, the seller relays the buyers ship-to address to me for the delivery by meh.

Tracking relayed to seller..you know the rest. Haven't figured an easy payment solution from the seller to meh, yet.

Sellers eB is 07 account. Last sale was 1 year ago and none for very low risk items being under 25$. Seller fb less than 10. about 50 buyer fb. And, the latest recent fb was 6 months ago.

Sold 4 items each averaging 100$ each in the first 4 days. 2 on the 1st day, 2 on the 4th day. Sellers ppal is pushing the "funds should be available (maybe 21 day hold?) on.."

Anything to be cautious about? Don't want to see the account go booboo!

Some will believe bad idea. (may depend whether seller assumes all responsibility. (if his acct does go down and accepts it if so)

What you are discussing is becoming a dropshipper for other sellers...has been done but takes good quality understanding

yeah. I was just hoping to welcome some pointers, some advice regarding the account, the accounts current stats and, with it's history for which I've noted below. I sought out and hired the seller. I am selling my products and choose what product, the category, price and when the seller is to list them.

So basically I am in a kind of "control" of seller's account. It's in my hands and I would hate to make a bad decision and then bumping into him on this forum. EX: Listing too fast, you know the type of activity that is BAD for THIS type of account.. I think I mentioned the removal of exif data from pics before uploading to seller. This is why I want to be assured I am not screwing up. I am using the same computer used with my stealths.

I actually use one of the suspended accounts email address to communicate with the seller and, even uploaded the photos to his email with it. Bad choice I know but I instructed him to never ever forward any of eB 's / ppals emails to my email. So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, I'm doing it right, otherwise? Tips accepted with a thanks

Best pointer is it depends on the product and knowing your sellers - not much can be discussed without knowing what you are trying to sell - that's up to you to disclose

There are many things to be cautious about.

As Rsot said: Its dropshipping. But, these are in GOOD transaction cases.

What happens when you get that 'one' buyer who makes things complicated?

What if you over sell something?

The seller has no part ownership of the products. If I understand you rightly, trading assistant sells others for a fee. My seller is only in it to make some extra cash and never was into selling as a main income. Seller just sold cheap trading cards of his own. (maybe i'm comfused?)

Product will vary differently in the categories I noted. No one source. I buy, resell.

Buying and reselling and using these to fulfill dropship orders? Seems a bit risky but if you know that your business model is tight, go for it

There is a trust issue.
Do you require the seller to pass the money over before you dispatch the sold item? Then the seller, who is legally liable, is vulnerable.
Likewise, if you dispatch items before receiveing funds then you're exposed. In theory, there is no reason why the seller would kill the golden egg though.
My question is why not just sell the items yourself and make all the money?

seller has updated me with the expected ppal$ release dates. One out of 4 has cleared so far. The job is the holding back before listing more when the seller politely asks .."was wonderin if ya had anymore ready for me to list..".

Thank heavens for the ppal holds. Gives time for the sellers account to cool off. Although the seller has no clue about the scandalous moves both eB & ppal can pull and that they REALLY are the "2headed Snake that Bites". But, Who wants to scare the seller? So, let's wait 'til first few items clear , funds released, then we both get paid before continuing to list again.

But knowing anything can still happen to real accounts just like stealth, I explained to the seller why it is important to let his account cool off regardless of account age it's the weak selling history that counts, scammers and fraudsters, high-risk categories....blahhh

Just started not too long ago, and going slow and spreading sales ou for now.

I probably don't hold as many accounts as you do..
