Standard selling limit on new account?
 

So I opened my first Ebay stealth account, linked Paypal and sold my first few small items.

My selling limit is 10/$1000 a month. Is this the standard selling limit for a new account?

It it OK for me to sell my used laptop for around $300 after just a few weeks?

Lots of factors to consider but you might want to start with low end items to have a bit of history first.

When your account is more established with history & feedback , you can take it to the next level.

Slow & steady always work for a long term relationship with them

Going to want to build a bit of history before selling an item like a laptop. Have a look for other things around the house you can sell

Is it OK to buy some very cheap items just to get feedback?

Do buying feedbacks factor in for your selling account?

Buying items do not help with selling very much.

It does however make it look like a legit account.
Also buyers like sellers with high feedback.

You need to sell items in order to have more of a trust-worthy relationship with eBay.

Find some household items you no longer need and list away.
