Except they charge insane amounts of money to change your number, so nothing to boast about. Find me more that let you change for free.

Gotta be honest. Haven't seen a PrePaid phone rival tracfone in price yet. Maybe you pay a few dollars more for the basic phone. But the minutes are cheaper than any of the other prepaid carriers that I have seen.

Net 10 phone $4.99 on there website plans are way better than trac phone net 10 you get 1000 mins for $25 and 200 for $15.00 on trac phone 200 mins would be like $30.00 if you had double mins

How long is the service time? Except for when I am starting new accounts I care less about the minutes than I do the service days before I have to renew. I got thousands of minutes stacked up on my family plans I have with tracfone.

they charge 10$ to change phone numbers. any other provider lets you change numbers for free ?

I have the Virgin Mobile Assurance plan - 250 free minutes & texts per month. You need to qualify for this government sponsored plan - i.e. be poor like me :s

I can change phone numbers every 24 hours at no cost online, although I don't do this very often.

I believe they do charge up to $15 each if you do it over the phone.

They monitor phone calls.
When I was in a rough patch, I signed up for the service (3 1/2 years ago. Do not use them any longer)
I got a letter in the mail stating that I was changing my number too often (Once a month or so since I only use it for google voice for accounts)
The letter had a government letterhead and that it did not follow emergency cell phone procedure. (Or some cr@p like that)
Thankfully, I wasnt doing anything illegal. but I let the minutes expire and dropped the service.
Got phone calls also inquiring as to why I needed the number changes so frequently. I told them that I had a stalker boyfriend and he had put a bug on my phone.
