How do I clear old account info from ebay app
 

Good morning,

I downloaded the eBay app to my phone, the account that it was attached to was subsequently restricted. Every time I remove the app and re download the app that same account info is automatically on there. Any advice on how to get the old account info from automatically appearing on new app and phone browser history completely would be great. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Better off avoiding the app altogether.

Which OS does your phone use?

I believe it's IOS 7.

Every time you download it it's going to read your phone and identify your phone your phone will always be identified with that suspended account so That's why you can't use the eBay or PayPal APP

Avoid the app altogether. Perhaps get a better handle of stealth on a laptop/desktop first before the phone use

Apologies if this has already been asked but I couldn't find it anywhere:

If I am logged in on my iPhone on my new eBay stealth account, and I go to my girlfriends house and use her wi-fi (I have used her Wi-fi with my banned account in the past), will the accounts be linked?

Did you use your old ebay account on this same phone via the app?

If you connect to her wifi and then use the app and the IP is the same a link will happen

e/b app uniquely identifies the UDID of any device it is installed on therefore it cannot be reused on any other e/b account from the same device.

Well I was restricted on the poshmark app. I created a new account on the app and there has been no link or anything. I'm not sure if the ebay app is the same, though.

Essentially with the eBay APP if you link any eBay account (call it eBay account 1 for this example) with the app, any eBay account (stealth or not) that you ever link with the eBay APP on that same phone (even if the phone has been restored to system default) it will get linked back to eBay account 1.

I sometimes wonder if people really don't bother with the search function....

Problem is using the SEARCH correctly. It actually comes up with no info in the top box.
But if you use the GOOGLE line, then you only get 761 entries.... still that's likey not enough :doh:

Thanks for the help JamesNorth101. I did use my eBay account (now banned) on my iPhone- therefore I will not use my new stealth account on the eBay app.

Also, thanks Greenie for the help RE searching! Much better now!

Yes thanks guys that's helped me out I just downloaded the app again hoping that would be sufficient!! Desktop only from now on
