| | | | | ukuser | 01-15-2014 02:39 PM | can someone explain, still dont understand. VCC and bank account verification hi, i still dont understand how vcc accounts such as entropay, 3v & others work.
Users on here say i will require a new bank account (which i have already opened with barclays current account).
how does VCC work?
from my understanding. You DO NOT give any bank details to paypal. All you do is open VCC account which is linked to your bank account. VCC give you a virtual account number and sort code. You then enter VCC account information and ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name same as paypal+ebay to verify account.
so in effect you can create 100's VCC with one bank account, right???
when you need to pay ebay fees, VCC account take % and charges your bank account, this allows you to pay fees/purchases without giving real bank info
also withdrawing money % is taken
-----------------------
i also read if you give REAL bank account details, when verifying paypal account, when name, account number and sort code are asked for, ⊗⊗⊗⊗ paypal/ebay name should be used followed by real account number and sort code?
banks are not allowed to give real name out, so if you only want 1 stealth account, why would VCC be required????? like a normal account you can buy and sell with the bank account.
please give advice. too much info and confused with this issue.
im going to use my mums names and id. shes has different surname to me, so no way of linking us. She does not know how to use a computer. shes 50+ and will never use ebay/paypal
i got new data plan, brother house (hes happy for me to use the address), new bank account on brothers address which belongs to me, new email, new operating system/user account, new mobile phone number
in this case, since 1 ebay account will be created, theres no need for VCC right? |
| JamesNorth101 | 01-15-2014 03:02 PM | Re: can someone explain, still dont understand. VCC and bank account verification Don't use your mums details.
You are confusing vcc with vba.
In uk you need a real bank account to verify your Paypal, and a vcc to confirm your address.
We cannot get vba in the uk. You also cannot use your real plastic bank card. It would fail the avs check. |
| livingdaylight | 01-15-2014 03:23 PM | Re: can someone explain, still dont understand. VCC and bank account verification So, how do you create a bank account in a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name? |
| JamesNorth101 | 01-15-2014 03:38 PM | Re: can someone explain, still dont understand. VCC and bank account verification You don't. You use real details for banks and entropay. Make sure the bank allows mismatching names
Phake details for EB and PP only |
| ukuser | 01-15-2014 04:33 PM | Re: can someone explain, still dont understand. VCC and bank account verification the reason why i failing to understand alot of this forum is because everything is abbreviated.
AVS - Address verification system.
Mine will not fail, as the bank account will be registered at the new address which is my brothers house. Effectively i have moved to my brothers house. Only issue is the name now.
is barclays current account fine with mismatch names??? |
| JamesNorth101 | 01-15-2014 04:37 PM | Re: can someone explain, still dont understand. VCC and bank account verification You should not be using your brothers address. You would be much better off with a rentable mail box and using a VCC. You will just cause issues for your brother or anyone else at the house if anything happens to your account. Pretty sure I have told you that before in another post.
Barclays is fine with mismatching name deposits.
For the record.
VCC - Virtual Credit card
AVS - Address verification System
VBA - Virtual Bank Account
TRS - Top Rated seller status.
They are the main 4 |
| ukuser | 01-15-2014 05:10 PM | Re: can someone explain, still dont understand. VCC and bank account verification hi, yes you told me not to use his address, however i have asked him, hes happy for me to create an account.
ok if i dont create an account on my brothers address, who can you recommend for mailboxes? im from e.midlands.
i will however use my mums details. dont have to tamper with id. |
| JamesNorth101 | 01-15-2014 05:12 PM | Re: can someone explain, still dont understand. VCC and bank account verification Again really advise you do not use your mums ID. There are much better alternatives.
If you want to find a mailbox, go to google, type 'mailbox in (enter your location)' - Problem sorted. |
| ukuser | 01-15-2014 05:21 PM | Re: can someone explain, still dont understand. VCC and bank account verification ok, what alternatives can you recommend?
also can you recommend mailboxes or mail forwarding service? whats the going rate p/m or per annum? |

| I am not going to post a mailbox provider on an open forum, it would quickly become overused.
Use google and do a bit of research, you will find lots yourself. |

These things are kept low key to keep 'em working. ;) |
| ukuser | 01-15-2014 05:53 PM | Re: can someone explain, still dont understand. VCC and bank account verification does mbe still work or city address.co.uk work fine?
im changing my name by deed poll tomorrow anyway for £14 and then £1 for additional copies. I need to renew my passport so might as well change my name. not got any houses or anything, so better to sort name change now rather than later. Mine and father letters already continuously get mixed up, so ideal time to change name, expecially since i want to pay tax and go legit. id sorted and back on ebay. all legit
i will save my mothers id if required at a latter date |

Make your own choice.
:peace: |
| JamesNorth101 | 01-15-2014 06:04 PM | Re: can someone explain, still dont understand. VCC and bank account verification Changing name by deed poll. Very extreme. Totally unneeded.
Best advise I can give is to reread all the replies you have had. You do not seem to be of taking any of the advise on board.
Tax man cares little if you operate under a phake name (pseudonym) so long as said tax man gets what he is owed. |

Even my dad told me to change name, prior to the ban. Because both my self and my dad have the same surname and first name we have the same initials, we continuously open each other letters.
please do not think your advice is falling on deaf ears, im taking it all in and will open a stealth account on stealth info. Tax man only cares with money entered into bank account, im aware of this.
i will be renting a mailbox from one my local business centres who offer the service. |
Re: can someone explain, still dont understand. VCC and bank account verification The mailbox is a good idea to work with for address |
| livingdaylight | 01-16-2014 03:53 PM | Re: can someone explain, still dont understand. VCC and bank account verification People creating all these multiple stealth accounts:
How many variations to a name are there before it gets ridiculous? I'm not getting how legitimate accounts are being created with a slight variation of a name?
My experience is that they write it down as they see it on one's ID document, i.e. passport or driving license |
| JamesNorth101 | 01-16-2014 03:58 PM | Re: can someone explain, still dont understand. VCC and bank account verification A lot of people use totally phake namse, not just a variation. |

| NoneOther | 01-16-2014 07:27 PM | Re: can someone explain, still dont understand. VCC and bank account verification Bank accounts are always in your real name.
e/b account can be any name you want it to be, totally fictitious is by far the best option for stealth.
A variation of your real name can be dangerous especially if any of your other reg info is similar to an old limited account.
Remember e/b only need a hint of suspicion that there is something not right with an account to close it down.
The less similarities between your accounts the more likely they will be to survive scrutiny. |
| ukuser | 01-17-2014 05:52 AM | Re: can someone explain, still dont understand. VCC and bank account verification Now I can help lol
Bank account must be opened with real info. You then need to sign up to virtual credit card (vcc) which allows you to verify address if PayPal account and bank details are at different address. If you addresses are different you will fail address verification system check (avs) therefore (vcc will be required which allows you to use ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address and name | | All times are GMT -5.
