Default Should I answer calls from Ebay?

I have 2 stealth accounts.
The first one has been like 2 and a half months, 6 positive feedback sold 15 items already. I cant sell anymore from this first stealth account because of selling limit, so I have to wait.

Just opened 2nd stealth account like 4 days ago, and listed 7 items and one just got sold and shipped.

I got a call from Ebay this morning but I was at work. I wonder what it is?
SHould I answer if they call again? What will be the issue?

I check both of my stealth account today, no mc999, no selling restriction, no messages and my listings are still there, everything is still normal.

Im afraid if I answer and ask what is your ebay account or my name since I do not know what account are they calling me from. It could be my first stealth account or the second and I might say the wrong one.

Yes, you should always answer.

If you do not, the chances are VERY high that they will restrict your account(s)
until they hear from you.

They like to know that the phone on file is valid.

Mostly, these are promotional calls. But never guess and always stay on your Ps and Qs when they do call.

You need to organize your stealths better if you do not know what account they are calling for. I myself have a binder where each stealth account has its own section and each cell phone has tape on the back letting me know what account belongs to which phone..

If you draw a blank, Your best bet is to 'fish' when they do call.

Let them do the talking and when they ask why you are so quiet tell them you had a similar call and they tried to misuse your personal info or something like that.

First and last rule: DON'T TALK TO ANYBODY

If they plan on limiting your account they will do it. You won't stop it by talking to them, you may even make it happen faster.

Oh boy. Not good advice.

To disregard an incoming ebay call could automatically see the account suspended. Why feed ebay a darn thing?

Preferable to be prepared and capable of dealing with enquiries from ebay rather than sticking your head in the sand.

A stealth account made competently should survive a talk with ebay.

If not, then the issue is how the account was made and not an incoming ebay call.

Why are you not organized?
Great you have managed to make a 2nd stealth account. This is the time where you have everything to lose if you are not organized.

Have you got an excel file with all your info? Did you make sure that the second account is entirely different from the 1st one?

Now, if you have not, that might be the reason for the call. Where an account has a selling limit, ebay often objects if another account is made to bypass the limits.

Not sure if you know this.

Most of the time, these calls are from the eBay Marketing department. They are most likely just verifying the phone number is valid. They will tell you about their free listing specials and blah blah blah etc etc. The calls last exactly 7 minutes. I always take them.

It can only add trust to your account, since they now believe the phone number is real and they are reaching a live human.

I always make sure that I use a personalized message with my voice and saying my stealth name on there. Is that okay? One time a pesky customer got my stealth phone number and actually called and left a message! She was like hi jack, this is blah blah blah.
