need fb before selling worldwide - but nothing sells!!
 

so I am trying a new country to sell on - not saying which.

but I need 10 selling domestic feedback before I can sell worldwide BUT nothing has sold literally for 3 months, VERY low price stuff that would go like hotcakes in UK or US or other sites....

people sell on there and are based there but they must sell wordwide, as do not seem to be many domestic buyers...

the only way I can think of is selling really good higher priced stuff, but then I have to ship it overseas but for domestic shipping price, will cost a fortune to get the feedbacks...my usual way to get fb is to sell low priced stuff.

also as we know 10 sales does not translate to 10 fb, you can make 15-120 sales before you notch up the fb.

so any ideas.....?

Put some really cheap (but reasonably popular) items in at auction with a low start price with free postage (or as cheap as possible)

Bound to attract at least a one or two bids. May sell for a loss, but gets the ball rolling.

it is a small site looks like no domestic traffic...

is that possible - anyone from a smaller site confirm?

I take it this is one of those countries that offers huge initial selling limits?

You've just found out why they offer such brilliant limits - because there's so little domestic traffic.

Sell the stuff at a loss to get the ball rolling.

I did not realise just how little traffic.....3 months 0.99 bargain items, would get several bids in UK...

not giving up though.

why dont you buy 100 iphone screen protectors for like 15$ in china and then list 10 auctions each of them 1p free shipping. you will loose about 10pounds but you will get your fb;)

I have ALL those type goods listed!!!!! I am telling you for months not a single sale, stuff that would have had dozens of bids at start price on ebayUK......take it from me, this international policy is messed up for small sites, you cannot start an acc off easily - the natives all live in straw huts with no internet..... it seems

you get the limitation only if you want to sell on foreign ebay. meaning you open an account on ebay.co.uk but want to sell on ebay.com - in this case you sell 10 cheap items in your home country first get 10fb and sell in foreign. is as simple as that. no way around it
