pp withdrawls... 2 24 72 hours ???

hey all happy new year and all that shizz

been browsing but not needed to post for a lil while

been withdrawing funds as you do from a pp acc

ive noticed it keeps giving me random times of withdrawl

for example i withdrew £95 and it said it would take upto 72 hours to appear in my account

another time i withdrew £20... and it said it would take upto 2 hours to appear in my account

so theres me thinking ok...if i transfer smaller amounts it will hit my account sooner

this morn i went to transfer £100 low and behold it said it will take upto 72 hours.. i cancelled and backed out... few hours later logged back in and tried to withdraw £20... thinking ill make 5 small withdrawls... and it said it will take 72 hours to withdraw the £20  yet the other day it took just 2 hours

And why are you confused? Delays with PP are known to happen - it's not really a big issue. Could be your bank even that takes time for the money to be posted for use.

I get this all of the time. Never the same.

Just make less withdrawals for a few weeks and it should kick back down to 2 hours.

The 72 hour delay can hit any account at any time.

pasypal uk has been random with withdrawal times since just before the silly season started according to my notes.

Some accounts with 2 hour withdrawals defaulted to 72 hours. That pattern of time we were enjoying changed.

If the funds are 'getting there', then go with the flow.

Happy Hippy New Year, my Friend :yar:

Tends to be more prevalent where people are withdrawing smallish amounts on a very regular basis e.g. daily.

I tend to make withdrawals only once a week and have never had it revert to anything other than 2 hours.

p/p get twitchy when you are making 'too many' withdrawals in their opinion.

Plus several of the UK banks have been having IT issues of late which may also be a contributing factor.

As always patience is a virtue where p/p are concerned.
