Won x2 paypal appeals: OK to sell now?
 

Please help!! If paypal limited my account, can I use a different paypal account when I am listing an item? This is why I am asking:

I have two main ebay accounts that have pretty good limits. I also have multiple paypal accounts. I use one paypal account on one ebay account and on the other ebay account, I have a paypal linked, but I change the paypal address when I list the auction so that I don't have too much going into the accounts.

So.. I had 6K in my paypal account and I, like an idiot, attempted to transfer it to another paypal account so that I could withdraw it. As soon as I did, paypal limited both accounts and reversed the transaction. After a grueling 24 hours, I got the limits on one account reversed and my 6K is now available to withdraw. But my main account is still limited.

When I called to have the limits on the main account removed, they immediately restricted the other account again. It took another hour or two to get the limit removed for the second time, but now I'm afraid to call them about the limits on the main account again.

I want to sell on my ebay account that has my main paypal account, but I want to use a different paypal on the listing. I don't mind keeping my main paypal linked to this account because trying to remove it would not be good.

If i used a different paypal address on the listing will this cause problems? How can they track it?

I ask this because, when I was speaking with the limits team they seemed to be very limited about what they knew. They didn't realize that my main paypal account was linked to an ebay account that was selling the same exact products that they had concerns with on the other paypal account.

Any answers or insight will be helpful.

You have a.mess on your hands, the first thing ID do is focus getting the money out of the account that is not limited before calling in or selling anything .

And if you normally withdrawal 200 at a time than make your first withdrawal $200 if a normal withdrawal is $500 than go with that or whatever a typical withdrawal is than wait 12 hours and increase the next withdraws by a little or in 6 hours make another withdrawal of the same size and 6 hours after repeat

Just keep it slow and steady and don't call in until the money is out than work on the limited paypal.

Also when you call in your right the person u speak to is a customer service rep and has no details of your account or is involved in any major decision making either so be aware of that, Any information you have ever input into paypal and eBay is logged and analyzed and tracked , once info is given there is no way to hide it

Thanks for the advice. Paypal called this morning and after a few short minutes I got the limits lifted on my second account. I'm still scared to to sell, it was just such a long and grueling process but it is done.

Start withdrawaling your funds before you sell and never keep more than $1000 in your account , I have paypals that make $12000 a month and I only leave enough for fees plus one return everyday

@OP, you are going to link the 2 pp's like this and cause a mess - PP can easily see that "Hey this guy is operating multiple pp accounts" and BAM! limitation with no chance of appeal because of risk.

PP can easily track because they are tied very neatly to eB.
