Conflicting info on EIN / LLC Name Confirmation
 

I know there is a ton of posts about this, many conflicting, and I can't seem to find anything definitive, so please forgive me and redirect me if already clarified.

If I use an EIN attached to a LLC (either using the LLC name or a DBA), which of the following is true in regards to what paypal will try and yes/no match by default:

-'Business CONTACT Name' matches your real name registered on LLC
-'Business CONTACT Name' matches your LLC name
-Business name matches LLC name
-Business name matches DBA name on LLC
-Business address matches LLC address

Also, can separate EIN's be acquired for the same LLC under different DBA's, and be used for different paypal accounts without being linked? (I suppose some of the above answers may answer this)

The question pertains to the information PayPal verifies so a tax professional would probably not be suitable. Its discussed at length all over this forum. I'm requesting clarification of specific details.

If you as yet have not made stealth accounts for paypal, you may find it easier to speak to a tax professional to get everything in order.

Thanks I actually have a consultation with a tax pro from legalzoom. If you or anyone has the answers to which of those paypal verifies so I can incorporate this into the info I get from the tax pro that would be very helpful because I know they are not going to have those specifics.

What do you think about using your real name (as opposed to a slight variation) on the PayPal account (since anyone could have the same name) and doing everything else normal stealth (address/pc/etc) and when it comes time to verify use LLC and EIN?

I may be different than most, but open an LLC(how you choose to be taxed, use your consultant) and run a real and 100% clean business.

LLC normally would have its own name(NOT YOURS, it is its own entity) own address, number, etc...

Then as a general rule use 100% of the legitimate information from your company and reap all the extra tax benefits as well.

Now if you are not selling many items and not to worried about reaching 200 items or 20K, go the super fast route and open a regular stealth in whatever name you choose or buy an account and start selling tomorrow.

Yes! That's exactly what I'm talking about just obviously using new address/pc etc. And a separate legitimate LLC for each acct -Or if they only match business name to DBA then maybe just a new EIN and DBA for each. Love to hear some of the opinions from the veteran stealthers.
