Adding a EIN to PayPal
 

I had an old sole prop EIN number from years ago that I never used. I want to add this number to my stealth PayPal account, the account was upgraded to a business account last month and my DBA was added. I updated the address to a Po Box and I just updated my EIN with the same address today. Anyone know how long it takes for their system to update? I don't want to add it and it get rejected because its not updated yet.

Also, does the actual name need to match? Or only DBA name?

The business name just needs to match the one given the IRS. The Catch 22 is that if you used a "Stealth Name" on the account. Your 1099k is filed under that name not your Business Name.
