is it safe to open many bank accounts?
 

so how many bank accounts do you have and how much money you get into them a month? through pp, is it safe to have more then 15 bank accounts?

it is safe to open more than 15 bank accounts, however you do have to space them out. Open them at different banks and don't open them all up at once, otherwise you'll raise red flags

The reply is yes and no.

Let's 'do' the negative 1st.

Going out and making multiple accounts at any & all banks will not succeed. Choosing banks less than happy to accept name mismatches casues this.

Luckily we have the positive.

rocketman, you sit down and plan out a 'stealth' future with ebay/paypal. Thanks to belonging here, you have access to heaps of info about banks & how to best use them. You map out a plan that allows creating accounts at selected banks with the least amount of fuss. :yar:

Main forum has bank talk in the Paypal Section: You have several essential things to consider here. Check the DATE of the thread. Bank status may have changed. If you happen to find a 'bank' that appears to look OK, make a thread and ask....that can be a learning curve for all of us.

As well as banks, Credit Unions can be of advantage for stealth. Majority have user requirements. If suited, a credit union is great.
