Paypal Limitation
 

I just got a my stealth limited. I was selling high end items and days before the money was released they froze my account. Now they are asking either confirm location, photo id or provide proof of address. Its a Canadian Paypal and Ebay. Can someone help me.

You will have to do what they ask.

If you do not want to do that let them know that you will not be doing as they ask and then they will release your money in 180 days

just an update for u guys, I called Paypal and they lifted my limitation. I think its a lesson for some people that it may happen, just try to ring them and see.

Welcome to the forum and holy crap Batman I am impressed to the max. I am not so sure that will work in the US. I had 3 get limited last year and I am praying it is not a seasonal thing that they house clean accounts? Best of luck. I never would have believed it.

I just called and told them I have no idea why they froze my account and that I needed my money. The lady looked nice and did it right away without any question lol. I had over 6k in that account that was frozen for 21 days. Thank god

It is exciting your limitation got removed.

But you must be careful. paypal can put a limitation back on the account at any time.

Hehe yeah I will watch myself from now on. I was quite excited when they told me they would remove limitation. They told me its because someone tried to go in my account, dont know if thats true...

I'm sure it was a random paypal bot that triggered the limitation. May I ask if this was a stealth paypal? Try not to have too much money in those accounts, any future limitation might not get this lucky. Best of luck

Yes it was a stealth Paypal. I feel pretty lucky that they unlocked without any documentation they were asking. I didnt feel like waiting 6 months to get my 6k back :nono:

6k is WAY too much to leave in a PP - be careful with future accounts.
