Parallels For Macbook Pro

Its only a couple threads about this topic so i was wondering if anyone has experience with Parallels to run windows 8 and if there are any cons with using this
i already have a pc running windows 8, but i have a macbook pro i got as a gift and wanted to be Mobile Stealth while i take trips etc...
Parallels is like VmWare but better at least thats what ive been reading
any help would be appreciated thanks!!

I used VMWare Fusion, but same as parallels. I could not stand it. I decided to use bootcamp and works great. When I want windows, mac can wait and when its time for mac, windows can wait.
