IP Address same on different windows user account..
 

Hello Everyone
this is my 1st post on this forum.and i am on my first step of stealth book.i made two different user account in my laptop.and i have change my ip address as well.but when i switch account i see same ip address in both account.I think it will make problem if i want to run two ebay account.i am using Bt Home Hub.

So can anyone tell me please how can i make two different IP address for two account?

Hi, welcome!
If your ISP is giving you a dynamic IP address you have to switch the router on/off and you will automatically get a different ip address (better check it every time maybe with this).
Use this tecnique every time you switch from one user/account to the other.
It is strongly recommended to trace the ip addresses you are using in order not to mix up the ips with the accounts.
If you have a static ip address (is not changing when you switch the router on/off) there are other tecniques.
Someonelse could give you advice.

Thanks for reply. i know about ip burger but my concern is when i switch my windows account shouldn't i get new IP or just i need to change it everytime before i log in to ebay account?

Having seperate user accounts keeps cookies seperate. Thats basically what websites use to track you.

your ip will be the same across all accounts unless you change it each time. I personally use a dongle as you get a new ip everytime. Some peopçe tether using their phone.

Its a good idea to keep track of your ip everytime you login. There are a xouple of excel templates other users have created and uploaded to this site. I use one which is perfect.

No - you a new IP by turning the modem off, waiting...then turning it back - if your provide is dynamic.

switching windows accounts wont just give new ip - you need to disconnect.

You can do that only is your ISP delivers a dynamic IP to your home.

Turn on your router/modem.

Run IP Burger - Track Your IP Address!

Log result.

Turn OFF router/modem.
Wait & turn on again.

Log result again.

Dynamic Ip should be different each time.

My question is how many accounts are you thinking of running?

i am using bt. and its really easy to change ip address. but do u know if i dont change my Mac address is that gona hurt me?or simply changing IP address is ok.

IP address change is fine. No need to mess around with MAC address.
