Default Want to get new account

Hi guys,

I'm new to this but have read the book so I now want to create a new ebay account and leave it for 30 days before doing anything...in the meantime I will be doing everything else necessary to do the stealth thing right, but it would be saving me a month if I could just get the ebay account now and leave it.

I'm in UK and have Static IP, so can I just delete all my cookies+ flash cookies, download AOL browser and register with that?

Thanks

Open a new user account on your computer.
THEN make your new account.
For each eBay/Paypal account you open it should be under a new user on your computer.
This way the cookies & Flash Objects will not get crossed.

Hi Here We Go Again, thanks for your reply!

My pc is a mess of late, so i can't create a new user account, i just want to quickly make a ebay account before i do everything the book tells me to, that way i will have a 30+ day old account ready and waiting when i've finished. if i delete cookies and flash objects manually, and use AOL browser, will that work?

If you can not create a new user then you are probably going to get linked.
You will get linked due to the same IP Address.
Do you know where all the cookies & flash objects are located in your computer?

Yes I have the Stealth Book, I know how to delete all cookies and flash cookies too.

I thought AOL browser goes through proxy so it hides IP address?

I know AOL dial up does that.
I do not know anything else about AOL.

I think any dialup does that doesn't it - I mean has a dynamic IP rather. I'm looking for how to just make a new account from my pc without getting it ip linked. In the book it says that AOL masks your IP.

You can use Dialup, sure. You do need a new IP address before creating a new eBay account. And as long as you delete your browser cookies, including flash objects before creating your new account you should be okay. You can use AOL browser if you want, that'll work for your IP address.

What if I have DSL, and have a Static IP address? Would AOL work then?

Thanks

Default New User Account

How can I figure out if my computer will let me set up multiple User Accounts? I have two modems. One is a Road Runner High Speed with a Time Capsule router. I also have an AT&T DSL modem that is not wireless but is used exclusively for eBay and PAYPAL business. I don't know if this makes a difference. My RR modem needs to be unplugged for 48 hours to reset the IP, but my AT&T modem resets the IP every time it is powered up. Still, I like the idea of different User Accounts. It just makes me one more step removed from these new accounts I am setting up and that can't be bad.
Thanks.

As far as i know all computers enable you to set up different User accounts. Go to 'Control Panel'. Click 'Users'. Click 'Manage User Accounts'. You should see an option to 'Add a New User' Be sure to make it an Admin as well in case you need to access files on other User accounts and you wont have log off to do so. This makes life much easier because the only thing i have to worry about is my IP address.
