Default Channelgrabber

After recently getting limited from ebay my company has decided to go the stealth route, buying a friends account, changing ip address, new bank account etc etc

The question I have is in regards to channelgrabber, we have it linked to our old ebay account, would it be ok just to replace the old account details with the new one? or would we need to cancel our subscription and start again?

For anyone that doesnt know channelgrabber is a site that combines amazon, ebay, play market places into one dashboard.

Why are you doing that to your company?

What do you know about your friend's account?

Do you not know that changing IP, adding new bank accounts can flag accounts?

How far along is this deal?

You should reconsider truly.

The account that we where to buy has just under 300 feedback with no limitations, we would rather give that a shot than start with 10 listings a month until ebay finally raises our selling allowance.

Surely ebay has to take into consideration that ip addresses will change if people move location and the account added will be under a business name

We have just verbally agreed the deal

Why buy the account? Seems to me to have no advantage over just creating your own account. Does the EB account come with the PP? If not what is the plan for the PP?

If we started our own account then we would only be able to sell 10 items a month until ebay raise our allowances?

This account has nearly 300 feedback and am buying it for a £300, when compared to some on the market place on these forums I didnt think it was too bad?

Paypal wise we will be setting up a new business name with new business bank account

Advice welcome

You will struggle to link in a new PP with an old eBay. You will end up having issues with both the PP and the EB.

Is that 300 selling feedback? What are the limits on the account? Do you know for sure that it is totally blemish free and not linked with any accounts? £300 is cheap for an account like that, cheap tends to mean only one thing in my mind.

If you create an account and link it in with a verified PP you will be able to sell 25 items.

Need to sell more, then create more accounts.

Much better option IMO

The 300 is a mixture of selling and buying, the account has had no problems and blemish free, not linked.

And you know for sure that the original PayPal will never get a limitation on it or ever be linked with another eBay account again? The original owner will also never ever want to use eBay again?

Its just too much of a risk as far as I see it.

If the original paypal gets a limitation even though its no longer linked with the ebay account will this cause issues? If the original paypal account is linked up with a new ebay account will this cause a problem?

On a side note if we do set up a new account and verify it we can sell 25 items... how many items can we list?

Just because it is no longer directly linked with the eBay account does not mean its no longer linked. They will both be strongly linked indefinitely.

And yes, if the old PP gets linked to a new EB it will cause a link between your purchased EB and their newly created EB which could lead to limitations for both accounts. Those two reasons are why its not a good idea.

You can list 25.... You cannot list more than you can sell.

Thanks for the advice will discuss with the business partner, in regards to the original question though, does anyone know if channelgrabber can somehow link ebay accounts?

Of the UK systems available, channelgrabber is overpriced and flaky.

We trialled it last year and stopped using it.
