Default Requesting Higher Limits on site vs on the phone

Hi everyone,

I realized something. Most of the accounts I open ask to call once I click on request higher limits.

But some of them are just asking few questions online.

why is the difference?

Why are you risking your accounts this way?

In my experience it really makes a difference if you are running a company with a full registered business EIN number, office address of some sort(or have one), etc...I call and increase my limits every month, but I have nothing to fear, everything is registered, 100% legitimate and whatnot in addition I do not get flustered, uncomfortable and can handle any and all questions ebay could possible ask me. I really have nothing to hide at all under this situation.

@Yankee - A lot of forum members have nothing to hide and have had totally legitimate eBay and PayPal accounts. That does not mean that eBay will not can you.

I did not mean anything negative at all. Sorry if that came across that way. I was simply sharing that on these accounts I call in and why.

I agree about ebays crazy account closings and have have had a series of bad experiences during ebays purge last year. One was a multi million dollar account that was closed for no real reason at all. Still to this day ebay has not given me a reason. I feel I am about to loose another account next month. This account is "Manually" under review and a 21 day hold although DSR are great. This happened today. No issues, no linking, etc...Just the ordinary, "We want to understand your business better" review that happens when you sell high volumes of high dollar items.
That being said, I never would have very high selling limits if I did not call in. I literally talk to ebay and paypal every single day on multiple high limit business accounts. I find communication is an asset in my situations.

Dont call - dont click - just let the account grow naturally.

If you feel that you still want to communicate like this - go for it and please post your experience.

All the best

Hi guys,

I totally know and understand about the don't click and dont call rule of stealth. Stealth is all about patience and I have much of it. In fact, I have 5 running stealth accounts ( two of them increased limits). Also have, few as a back up.

Now Im in a stage to figure out how come some accounts are able to confirm identy on site and others require phone call.

Why am I interested in this? because I think this is the key to create 100/5000 accounts from the start.

I think this is worth wasting couple of hundred $$ to experiment and find out

So you are researching how to get high limits from the start? Share the info carefully if you find it - putting it out in the open tends to axe the process...

yes. I pmed couple of VCC and VBA sellers on the forum already. I am planning to create 5 accounts this weekend and see if I can get the limits raised. I know 100/5000 accounts mean nothing if you are not careful and don't follow the Stealth techniques but I just think it would make things easier.
