Got a new stealth banned even without selling
 

Hello all,

One of my new stealth accounts was just banned indefinitely. I am confused. The ebay rep sent me an email asking me to provide a survey to her , but I ignored her. She asked bank account to verify paypal but I said I could it myself the other day. Today, I got an email which said my account is suspended indefinitely. So pissed off. Is she doing this only to revenge me? I am sure I got nothing linked. I even did not start selling.:ban?:

I've heard that if you ignore/neglect surveys or if you do them and say anything negative ebay suspends your account..

That sounds to me like USSR in the days of the communist party of Joseph Stalin 90 years ago.
Can anyone else confirm that, or should I consider placing a statue of ebay's logo in my living room and kiss it every morning?

I ignore all surveys.... I unchecked it in the setting so don't even get them much unless I haven't unchecked it...

Same happened to my friend, his account was just toast because he went ballistic on eBay during a survey.

yea that happened on an old stealth I mine. honest to God truth I was honest and just told them how I felt. (no ballistic or violent rant or anything) account went toast.[no butter]

GreenBean also told me along time ago that ebay(angry bullies) would take it personal if you ignore or give bad reviews on surveys.

I think people are grasping at straws here...I never do the surveys on any of my accounts and they are all fine.
Not everyone who buys on eBay is computer literate... It would be very disciminating and we know how politically correct the uk is haha

Agree with this.

But the OP is ignoring the other problem with his account - they requested that he added a bank account and he failed to comply.

This means you were listing in a high risk category, which they only allow sellers with verified PP's to sell in.

I've had experience with this, and one rep once told me that I "had to instantly add and verify a bank account within the next 3 hours or my account would be banned."

I scoffed and asked what she was talking about, she said, "I have a timer in front of me."

I thought she was kidding and took my sweet time attaching a VBA. As long as I didn't list another item I'd be okay, right?

Wrong. Account was banned in 3 hours.
