Making stealth accounts and getting your limits to 100/5000 without even selling
 

So some of the us stealths I had all had default selling limit. 4/5 accounts that I had I got limits raised to that and the 5th account 10/2000

All I decided to say was that these limits are not enough and I need a limit increase and they just increased it for me.

Nah they do, I ended up getting one.

Will test canada when I can.

Wow you are a lucky person OP! Although I have seen even luckier users here state that their new stealth accounts with NO LIMITS!

There are ALWAYS limits - just some have very very high limits

I've called in on my dozen stealths I first made. 99% of the time the limits were upped.

I did have one agent tell me "Your in a competitive market, etc" and didn't give me a higher limit but the other 11 worked just fine.

Oh and half of those were upped with under 30 days and nothing sold without 1 feedback also. This was last year.

They do ask you to confirm account info. etc.

I am also trying to figure out how to get more 100/5000 accounts. did you have to call them

Well some of my accounts have 240, 230, 210, 110, 160 and 1 has a limit of 62.

You can either call them up, or wait 3 months after you started to sell on the account to see what limits they give you. Your best bet is to max out the limits each month first 3 months of selling. Once they see that it's going to go up on it's own.

I had one account limit with 50 and I had maxed it out last month. They made it 110/$5500 on it. I guess it's also really different on who you talk to on the phone.

Most of the time they ask you "Where do you get this product from?" And they ask you questions about the account, name, street, email, last 4 digits of the credit card, etc.

After 3 months I started to sell items that would boost up my feedback to max it out and noticed the next month it went up on it's own also. But one of my accounts I didn't sell feedback building items since it hit TRS on the account and I hit the limit the 1st month with TRS so they bumped it up once I called in.

I have been trying to figure out how to get 100/5000 from the beginning for a quite long time now. Wasted alot of time and $$ on this. I got it to happen only once and it was pure luck. They gave me the new suspension right after first listing i called them up they reinstated my account and the limits were 100/$5000.

however i know people increase their limits on new accounts without listing anything or without calling. I believe they click on the request higher limits and confirm identity or something like that. whenever I tried this it tells me to verify if i have another account or to call them.

i think they are doing a automatic databese search and if they cant find anything they want to talk to you.

i got couple of ideas how to get around this but i dont think they would be ethical.

I have enough accounts to keep my business running on eBay thanks to the Forum but i am desperately interested in figuring out how to create 100/5000 accounts from the start.

On ebay.co.uk everytime I hit the up the limits button it asks me to change to a business account? Would this up my limits? Or would it just stay the same? has anyone switched to business account & got limits auto upped?

It will do nothing.

You would still have to phone them to discuss your account before they decided if they were going to give you an increase.
