How to Avoid being a powerseller?

http://www.aspkin.com/forums/lock-bo...werseller.html

I read this older thread. wanted to ask about it.

Does any one know how to avoid being a powerseller and opted out the power seller program? Your responses are much appreciated

I check out forum and see Aspkin advice "Final Answer:
There is absolutely no advantage to Powerseller status. It may increase sales slightly, but is it worth it? The only thing that matters is having the right products at the right price. Plus you will be held to higher standards than most. Really - YOU DONT NEED IT." I am kind of worry for several my powerseller Accts. How I do stop the Ebay automatic system to opt me in the and opted out the powerseller program? Please let me know. Thanks

That quote is ages ago.

Situation has actually changed a real lot.

If you have worked hard enough to become a powerseller, you have in fact done yourself a service. It means you have proven ( and are proving) to ebay you are reliable.

What is really worrying you in this matter? Maybe we can allay any fears.

:peace:

Powersellers receive a discount on FVF fees. Additional discounts are given for having a store and being a TRS (top rated seller). Several eB and PP calculators can be found online to research the different discount levels.

Re: How to Avoid being a powerseller?

I always strive to be powerseller to put me in higher search standing, especially in catalog there is always a big battle of undercutting going on.... However its in a separate class as our undercutting of prices is still way above the non-powersellers...
