How long to wait before you "TURN UP"

I finally got an account going and it seems to be sturdy. Now how long should I wait to start selling things that can make real money (vero used).

I've got one one dollar item listed for a penny, and I have a bid and its on a 5 day listing. I have more items I can sell for a buck and I'm slowly listing them.

So yeah any tips?:brushteeth:

It matters massively.

You cannot start selling Vero on a brand new account.

You need to build up trust with eBay which takes months and sometimes years.

This is done by selling non branded items to start with and progressing from there.

Its 16 days old, and I have 100% feedback, from an item I bought then cancelled because it costed too much to ship, and the seller gave me positive feedback in turn for my positive feedback.

So you have 0 seller feedback.

Its going to be a few months until you can start selling vero (depending on the vero). You need to build a relationship with eBay and show them that you can be trusted to dispatch your items on time and as described.

It matters because the "older" the account is and the more positive feedbacks are on the account the less hassle the account will get...

Can't just open an account today and expect to sell Vero tomorrow....

Re: How long to wait before you "TURN UP"

and here is where the problem comes into play. I don't have months to wait. I don't even know what U should sell. I mean I could sell some art of mine because I'm a pretty good artist and I even went to school for it but I can only do that on one account for obvious reasons. I have been planning on doing that but what do I sell on my other accounts?

Even stuff you find at garage sales are for the most part branded items.

Also I need to get something started immediately. I don't have a job right now.

So I don't have money to buy stuff from a dollar store and sell the items taking a loss like people suggest on this forum

Re: How long to wait before you "TURN UP"

and can I get a minimum amount of time to wait before I post Vero used that is concrete and definite?

and you guys said it depends on the price of the Vero items, well the items I'm selling are about selling for 15$-40$ a pop.

Re: How long to wait before you "TURN UP"

Concrete and definite does not exist in the EB/AZ/PP world...so you need to just let that thought go.

And the category you insist on selling in only makes things infinitely worse. Stop trying to think that you can immediately turn ste/althing into a full time job in just a matter of days. You still have a ridiculous amount of lessons to learn.

No such thing.

Stealth cannot be done in a rush and a panic. It takes time and patients.

Don't agree with this with my stealth experiences at all.

Everyone has different experiences...experimentation and sales can be done differently. I have tried all kinds of timelines and (in general) I build the accounts up with slow growth and rotation between OTHER accounts

Have you tried to check out the dollar store?? Maybe you'll find something interesting to sell.

100 Feedback is my line to start blowing it out....

Also, keep the dollar amounts steady and don't increase more then 10% then previous months.

This is my way of doing it. It seems every time I test it I get limited.

I must admit 2014 has been a lot harder on me then previous years. I got too comfortable and a bit careless and lost few good accounts because of it...

My experience is they will give out high limits from day one if you can show you are worthy of it. In turn means they want you to sell, have invoices ready if you want to sell quickly.

:peace:
