What do you use as your name, address and birth date?
 

I read the stealth guide, and following what it says there doesn't exactly work for me. When I use a random name and address and random birth date I get my account restricted every time because ebay cant find records of such a person at the address in the public records. How do you guys use for name and address and DOB? I guide says to use relatives, but I dont have any I could use.

- can you break down the steps of your account creation? I dont think it is just the name use that is giving you problems - I use made up names all the time without issue...are you trying to sell dangerous/risky items right away?

-New user on computer,
-New Ip
-new gmail
-Make the ebay and paypal accounts with random but matching info.
-Verify using VCC

The MC99 always happens after selling or listing item, and then they say they cant verify my DOB and name and address in their public records.
Also I have made three such accounts, and all have been limited then restricted because of not being able to verify my info. But the first one I made automatically started with a 2000 limit while the other two were 1000 limits. I don't know what was different and why I started with different limits on them.

How soon are you listing your items after account creation?

I list them maybe a day after creation. But only like one item. How long should I wait. And can I list a random item and buy it from another one of my accounts just to have a sale and feedback?

Do you browse around email a bit or do you just create the account and list an item the next day?

My steps in creating are kinda like this. I look at my previously used names initials, like one maybe BC, then I pick out 2 initials I have not used. Then I create a name outta that. Then I create my random gmail. Then I look for an actual address of someone or something, just as long as it is a real address. BTW, I do not care about returns; therefore, whose address it is is irrelevant to me, just as long as it is an actual address. I then create my PP and then create my EB. Fin.

Some things I left out like the vanilla visa, phone tactics, and bank accounts. But the name matching the address does not matter to me, and so far it hasn't mattered to EB/PP regarding my accounts with them. I do not think they run each account through a data base unless you give them a reason, but they may take a small sample.

Clearly you have not paid attention to the 'staying under the radar' section of the guide. It lists 'best practices' to avoid what is happening to you. Basically, you need to behave like a newbie to EB, and browse around and buy some stuff first. I say buy at least 3 items, and only list an item for sale after a month. EB's robots are programmed to seek unnatural behavior and raise flags. Worked for me on 2 stealths. With the 3rd I got a little greedy, flew too close to the sun, and lost my wings. Bamm, account restricted.

Are you talking about Canada or USA accounts here?

If you are meaning USA, then why are you disregarding the MC999 that most new accounts get?

This has been happening since last October. As we have mentioned before there are now several variations on MC999.

Names not being checkable are a reason.

Or if you have not made accounts for ages, then the game has changed too.

does not seem to work like that in the uk, we got new people arriving on our little island "daily" LOL
and so not everyone is trackable :)

touchwood... ive never had a problem with random selection, but a bit of common sense usually helps too
where im from you have a lot of common surnames... im talking millions of them lol like as if they are all related to each other haha well you never know
i find just a little bit of thought along with a little bit of research works best
