For those who sell brand name products
 

Hey guys,

I found that the marketing team/copyright team of brand names is watching ebay daily. I got an email from one of the heads of the marketing team telling to raise the price to X.XX. I shoot back email telling her that it's my right to sell at whatever price I want to sell because I want to get rid of those things. I even asked her isn't this my right to do so? This may sound rude but I am so annoyed by those people these days.

Are you sure it was an eB e-mail and not a scam? Like competitor trying to win vs. you?

Yes, not competitor. The women's full name is given from the brand name. They even message me part of sales agreement. I told her to leave me alone because I've never signed anything with them...

Odd e-mail - I have not received anything like this...could be specific to your item selling /shrug

Tricky issue because of trademark laws.

Some trademark owners still believe they can control the item on the after market.

better be careful. they may have ebay take ban that name brand due to the lower prices.

a lot of brands do that on ebay as ebay sellers sell their stuff too cheap and "cheapens" the brand name.
