Cant use paypal without SSN?

I just purchased the stealth guide and the only issue I really see is the SSN requirement for paypal. Are my only options to use paypal really just using a friends SSN or becoming an LLC? I dont feel comfortable asking or using a friends SSN and becoming an LLC seems like a lot work for using ebay when it is only going to be just a POSSIBLE source of extra income for me.

On a side note I do not ever recall giving my SSN to paypal before my ebay was banned. Is there some way to verify if I have or have no submitted that information to paypal?

There are some parts of the book that are obsolete. We no longer recommend that you use friends and family, nor use your or someone else's SSN#. PP only requires the SSN (sometimes before this) when you are approaching the 200 items in a calendar year or the $20,000 in a calendar year marks. Not both, either / or. So technically, your SSN will not be required until you hit about 150-175 ish. It really varies. If you look through the search function of the forum, you will see lots of diff marks that PP ask for this.

If you plan on selling that much in a year, then you need more than 1 stealth. the more you have, the better protected and prepared you are for PP limitations and EB suspensions.

If you do not plan on selling that much, you should still create a few stealths.

Interesting. Obviously using many accounts is advisable. But would an LLC grant me the ability to use one ebay account like normal? Assuming I dont get it linked to my old account? Is this basically the only option right now besides using someone else's SSN?

If you put all your eggs in 1 basket is not ideal, best practice is to have many accounts...all working hard, so if 1 or 2 go down you don't feel much pain.

Boy can I second this! I had two accounts on a site similar to eB@y and once they started gunning for me - it was not long til the other was linked and also wiped out. It's my sole income for my family sooooo I found this site, the Stealth Book and I am picking up and dusting off so to speak.

Now it's not only about survival but I plan to make as many stealths as I can just to show them that I am smarter than they are - and if one or two take a hit, no big deal. I am already up and running with my very first, making sales, thanks to the VERY helpful info in the book and this forum so THANK YOU!

Never leaving it to chance again and eggs shall reside in many baskets, indeed.
