Private internet Access VPN
 

I know from past experience using this for standard usage non ebay/paypal etc.. that some sites do not like the VPN's that are connected to PIA,

how does eBay and paypal handle PIA's VPN's? eg.. choopa.net is one in new york, i had an issue where i couldn't send yahoo emails because they thought it was spam, because i was using the choopa vpn.

In general are vpn's a bad issue? I've been using a certain cell phone provider for my stealth and stealth creating lately and i'm just getting too many 0/0 new accounts, even though most are saved by calling in, i think my cell phone provider is the culprit.

I am force roaming through verizon at the moment to setup a new stealth tonight, but it still shows my regular cell companies domain but a different ip range than i normally am in, which is very narrow as it was.

I would say one possible huge factor is the popularity of the VPN...e.g. how many users are using the SAME VPN vs. amount of fraud activity...

They do tend to be an issue when they get used by overseas users trying to 'look' like they are located in a given country.

Too often these users want to purchase high end goods without having an account that even remotely meets paypal/ebay standards.

Such accounts get flagged.

There's an influx of users 'choosing' VPNs as a sort of flavor of the month....

Will backfire soon.

Yeah, the problem is that with VPNs, so many people share the IPs and as rsot and GreenBean said above, people tend to use these VPNs for fraudulent activity, causing many websites (eBay/PP included) to often blacklist those IPs. That's why a private IP address is much better (I prefer using a VPS for that).
