Laritha...I'm afraid, you know not, of what you speak...I have just done what he said could not be done in the UK, so don't say USA too, because that is just plain false...not my opinion, fact, I've done it and I guarantee I'm a small fish compared to some on here.

I haven't been on these forums as often in the last few months, so it's possible things have changed and others have had issues, but I have several hundred accounts without bank accounts attached and have never been required to add one unless I chose to on my own.

That is good - still not recommended for the new users to stealth but hey, if it works - all the best

Yes I do many things that aren't recommended.

I use my accounts a bit more reckless than most, and if they get past the initial first year of medium-risk activity then the accounts will graduate to the bank account level and I'll move to low risk items and baby the hell out of the aged accounts as they become valuable with age/feedback.

New accounts are a dime a dozen(I often make a new account daily), I hate the idea of wasting ba's on new accounts that may not make it past 6 months.

Likewise here, all 20 of my accounts have real banks. Never used a VBA for any of them.

With my local bank I can have 1 main bank account with up to 5 (I think) sub accounts with separate bank account numbers.

If I don't use the sub accounts the bank sometimes asks me to close the account, but don't force you to do so.

What happens when you close about 20 of your 70 bank accounts that year? Something has got to be triggered at that point.

Depends how you reason 70 accounts to your bank in the first place. There are many legitimate reasons that you can have for closing many main or sub accounts.
