Ebay increase my stealth account selling limit 3 times in one month!!!
 

This is my lucky month. Very exciting. Ebay has automatic increased my selling limit again!!! My stealth account limit 100 to 600 limit in one month. Have everybody has this happening before? Here is my story...Back to 4/19 My stealth account has been 3 months. And I start selling on this account. After a week and half.. I have received a email about my selling limit has increased..

Great Job, sometimes u get lucky like this, but just be-careful, I had a couple accounts like the one u have now, get several raises and the accounts were only 6-8 weeks old

Don't push the limits right away, even though they are telling u to sell more, don't push the limits right away, ease your sales up gradually

one of my account almost 5 month, but still keep 10 item per month, bad luck

I have 5 accounts that are 90 days and still at 10/1000, but this week I got a 6 week old account raised to 30/3000...it is soooooo random the way they make these raises.

Congrats, with Stealth though. I never put the ball on the Roulette wheel by calling in. Some people like to take more risk than others. I have made a living with regards to eB/PP playing it safe.

but yeah just be careful with it and don't suddenly list many more items than usual or you'll put the account at risk.

It is a copy and paste of the sellers screen and "Right Arrow" is a image that was lost and converted back to code per say.

What questions did they ask? I called and they said my account was almost ready for higher limits and to call them back on a specific day (this day is the end of my 90 day probation) should I call or wait? She said my selling pattern was phenomenal btw

I call to increase limits quite a bit. I make a listing with something quaint and that won't sell, then I say hey I'm starting to sell such items and they give me an increase

My oldest stealth was on about 500 limits, hardly used, then stuck on a few items totaling all 500 quantity, and they raised it to 1000, so a week later I upped to 1000, next day they raised me to 2000, a week later same again now its on 3000.
Account is nearly 2 years old. Have another 1 on 300 limits, another two on 100, and several 30's and 10's waiting to build up.
Shows how worthwhile it is having several accounts aging in the background.

I have never phoned up once. I have never bought anything off them.

Open account (as business), wait a week, list 10 auctions a month till it goes up to 30. Keep listing 30 auctions with a few buy it nows each month, should go up to 100. Then as you sell safe items it goes up and up. The ones that go up the fastest are the ones I max out.

OP didn't say he called in... he said "automatically".

I've had this happen once in 4 years. The account was a blockbuster!

I've found that if I sell to the limit in the first few days of the month on a new account I almost always get one bump, and if I can sell to the new limit again by the middle of the month I get another bump about half of the time.

I guess when you don't call eBay for several years you become out of touch with how things work...

what if I sold a $100 account to someone and they took your advice by calling in only to get a REP that Indefinitely suspends their account ?

If you read my posts from the beginning, you will see that I make quite a few disclaimers.

if you wish to debate, I'd be happy to do so, but I expect you to have the integrity not to cherry-pick select quotes that fit the agenda you're trying to push.

This is getting OLD

Calling is advised to NEW members not to do, due to them possibly not having the knowledge needed to complete the call correctly without losing the account.

If anyone decides to call, yes that is down to them, no one has said it's wrong, but its NOT advised...yes you see the word ADVISED

Stop harping on in multiple threads on the same subject. No idea where you've come from but joining the forum so recently and exploding onto the scene with that attitude, it sounds like you may of been here before....

I avoid having a business account as contact details are placed at the bottom of all your listings.
Can we assume that stealth business accounts all have fictional details at the bottom?

I know of quite a few business accounts that have their real info on the listings...

my stealth accounts have a real address simply because I have access to that address.

Funny how it seems the vast majority of my critics are ACCOUNT SELLERS. I find that rather interesting....

and yes, I spent over 80 dollars to post in forums I could have posted in for free....first I'm not credible because I'm new, now I'm not credible because I've probably been here before. You kids need to get your story straight. :rolleyes:

Wow what's with all this hostility?

Calling up for a limit increase is part of how ebay have set it up. But it's not recommended with stealth accounts generally because you need to be a good liar comfortable taking on the stealth identity. But also your accounts need to be perfect in everyway from stealth details to what your selling because your getting a human ebay employee to review your account.

If it's all fine and dandy then phone up.

On the flip side, what about the long run for people who have phoned up early? Are they still able to get to limits in the thousands or is it a boost at the start for a short lived account? Do they get auto limit increases or do they need to keep phoning to stay in front of the computer? I've no great long term experience with phone ins but would be nice to know.
