That new "related accounts.." message
 

So of my 100's of accounts, I've never gotten the "These are your related accounts" screen that I've heard other people say exists.

A few years ago I was managing the sales of a product for someone else, and using their info to basically handle all the eB stuff for them.

I was going through my accounts changing PWs and I found out they got themselves all kinds of screwed up when I took my break from assisting them with their sales. Also, here's the screen that you might have heard people talk about.

Oh boy here they go again just making up random excuses.

I really think we are not being told the REAL story behind the so called hack.

This person I was working with had no knowlege of stealth and we were using info under her real name and all real info, as she was a stay-at-home homemaker trying to make some money without wanting to learn any of the technical stuff.

I'm guessing she ran into trouble after we parted ways, and she went on to create and re-create several accounts without changing any info or using any stealth tactics. I had no connection to the other accounts that were linked to this one.

...All that said, I agree with you. I don't think we're being told everything about the latest hack.

The password page is too flimsy, and has no security. You can copy-paste passwords into the fields when you go to change your PW as prompted, but you can't do that for other fields, such as the PW fields when you're signing up for an account, or the confirmation eMail field when you change your email.

It seems too easy to be real.
