Verizon Hotspot Jetpack 5510L with DHCP enabled
 

I just got the Verizon Jetpack 5510L. I check this jetpack device by go to ipconfig/all and realize the DHCP enabled. I have the Verizon Pantech USB Modem UML290 comes with DHCP disabled. It is working fine so far for EB & PP stealth accts. I am not sure if the Jetpack 5510L might cause the issues with my EB & PP accts if the DHCP enabled or not.

What you can do is create a shortcut of your Ethernet connection to your desktop, then when you want to connect via your Jetpack all you have to do is right click on your shortcut and click Disable so only your jetpack connection is running.

Thank you for your reply MM78. Would you please tell me more specific how to create a shortcut of Ethernet connection to my desktop to disable the DHCP? Thanks

Control Panel / Network and Internet / Network and Sharing Center / Change Adapter Settings

Right Click on your Ethernet Adapter / Create Shortcut

Thank you for your help MM78. I just create a shortcut to desktop and disabled the ethernet adapter shortcut but I check the virgins mobile Jetpack is still DHCP server enabled. It has not turned off yet
