PayPal limiting new seller accounts?

Hi Guys,

So I ran across this problem.

I've made about 3 Stealth Accounts so far, with an Entropay card linked to all of them.

First, I wanted to ask is £5 enough to put on an Entropay card so it can work properly with my stealth PP?

Alright, now that's out of the way, lets get started. So my first account I made was actually quite good. I chose a McDonald's address, and made the account to send $4 and a few small transactions for some personal payments. To my knowledge, that account is still in good order, but I left it as I was told that the address was a really bad choice.

Second account, I think I messed up when I made this as I used the same user account which stored the cookies from one other stealth account I failed making ages ago, so this failed.

Now, my third account. I made this last week, and attached an Entropay card, which had only $2 on it. Regardless, the card attached fine.
The address on this account was a real house address, about 3 miles from me, which I found on Google Maps.
Now, I took a big step and listed a household item on eBay with this, a Nexus 7 Tablet which was broken.

I waited 6 days, and the item relisted and eventually sold for £23 including postage via PayPal. As soon as I received the money, my paypal 5 minutes later got limited.

It said that for security concerns, they wanted to know some more information or something, and they asked me to verify the account with a bank account and also confirm the address.

I wasn't prepared for the bank account step, but for the confirm address step, I clicked and it told me to add a new card to my account? I found it quite odd, so I added a spare Entropay card , but it failed and just returned me to the home page of paypal, but the card was added to my account.

I don't know what happened there, but I would like to ask for help from the community on what I possibly did wrong here?

Thanks for your time.

Kind Regards

Ive heard Entropay is not good for VCC's , They limit accounts that use it. Try to stick with a vanilla visa

I ended up staying away from entropay after hearing all the past experiences from other users. Thank god there are plenty of other options out there that work so its not that hard to find better alternative.

Wow, I didn't know Entropay was bad.

Loads of UK Experienced members told me to use it.

I guess I will try 3V then.

There is nothing wrong with Entropay.

Works perfectly well for UK users. It's a different matter in the US.

As I told you via PM your issues are caused by selling tablets on new accounts with unverified paypal accounts attached. Even with a verified paypal, electronics are a risk on new accounts.

For the type of limitation you have on that Paypal account, Entropay won't work in this instance because it is not a full AVS card. A 3V card or other Visa gift card registered in the stealth name & address would work for that part of the limitation.

Unless you have a bank account to attach to the Paypal don't even bother with the above. Just refund the buyer's payment and walk away from the mess.

Hmm It might be the items that are being sold. As I am in the US and have used, and currently still using, entropay on my paypal accounts. I haven't run into any issues. Then again, I don't deal with electronics neither.. But there are also many factors that could affect it - from the items sold, to age of account, verified account, etc.
