Selling a brandnew Lightroom 5 and got suspended
 

Hello everyone! I'm new to this forum, recently got frustrated by eBay's aggressive actions and luckily found this forum.

I was a new seller, only sold few three photo papers without problems. Then I got a lightroom 5 software (bundled with Canon printer) from a promotion, I kept the printer and thought, why not sell the software on ebay. The software was successful sold and everything ran smoothly and then, the nightmare came 5 days after the software was sold! I got a letter from ebay stating there were not satisfied with my business behavior and my seller account was suspended indefinitely! I called ebay but was told the decision was final!

My question is that my item is genuine, and how could I not even be given a explanation not mention of a second chance! I searched ebay and found lots of people were selling the same items (some sellers are selling more than one) without be suspended (they are still selling today, after several months).

Most astonishing is that I found some people is selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ P90x3 in bulk on ebay (such as here http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=111381346976) and has never been caught? So what is the rules that ebay is playing on? I'm very frustrated!

Welcome to the forum.

1. When you post an ebay link, as a courtesy to other members - you need to add WARNING EBAY LINK or such...just protocol :)

2. The rules that eB use are decided by them...some people survive by trial and error, some people get axed right away, others get auctions pulled in the past 90 days (!) and then get axed...so there is no simple solution.

What else did you sell? Only software? Missing puzzle pieces...

Thanks for the remind! I'll pay attention to that in the future!

I sold mostly my own used stuff, used ipod, speakers, headphones like that. Never software! This was the first time did it and they banned my seller account

Ad.o.be does not play games. They don't care how you get their software, you are not allowed to sell it. Nothing you can do will change that. Lesson learned.

And another thing to remember when selling, Especially on a 'new' account: Media is MURDER. This applies to DVD, Software and such.

If it isnt a book, best to watch your back.

iPod and headphones likely didnt help the status of the account either
