Able to use eBay app on old phone?
 

Will formatting my phones that used to have eBay app be succifient enough to avoid accounts being linked?

They phone are fairly outdated but can still run the eBay app (Samsung Galaxy s3 and iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S).

Will restoring/format my phones to a clean slate as well as giving new phone numbers for those phones be succifient enough to avoid link detection?

Ebay/PP apps record your phone's ID, doesn't matter what you do, Ebay already has that phone's info somewhere in their database.

Avoid Apps at all cost....Not worth it.

Right, unless you spoof your hardware ID, a reinstall of the OS won't help.

Thanks for that, I'm going to go ahead and ask another question just incase. But what about formatting a Macbook Pro?

I will be installing Mac OS as well a dual boot windows on it as well. I only want to use windows for selling stuff on eBay as well and use separate internet dongle with that.

No need to format your MAC Book.
Running your business from a brand new user account (Windows or MAC) will do the job.

It's all in how you interact with eBay or PayPal. With modern browsers what websites such as eBay and PayPal are allowed to see about your connecting device is limited, it's like this for privacy reasons whereas apps don't have these limits. So that's why clearing browser cookies, flash objects and reseting your IP address is enough. This is also why we say not to use other software to connect to eBay unless you take precautions. :p
