How can I accept credit cards?

Hi, I want to accept credit cards on my site but I do not have a registered business is there any payment processor that can allow me to setup credit card processor without asking for business detals? My monthly income would be about 10-20k.

@GoteBay Authorize ask for Business information like Tax ID, etc which I do not have.

EDIT: They want Business information like Tax ID/Social Insurance Number and location info. Can I provide them my residence details and SSN for that or does it have to be legit business info?

Canada does not have SSN. It has other methods of ID.

What country are you selling on?

That info is needed, please.

I'm Canadian and I provide hosting and domain services to be specific. And Canadians do have SSN. And on Authorize application form it asked for SSN and Business location - Screenshot by Lightshot

Correct term is SIN for a Canadian. (Social Insurance Number).

.king, I will check something & post again with some suggestions.

https://stripe.com/ is a good option.

I have used Authorize.Net for years without any issues. Look for Authorize.Net resellers. And register your business if that's what you need to do.

In Canada, if you do not have a business name, use your legal name with SIN. It is only a phone call away to register a business in Canada.

I'm assuming if I register my business I would be paying taxes then as well?

Of course, Authorize.Net and other payment processors may be required to report your income by law. There is nothing wrong with paying taxes. We have done a good job to keep many things free in this country.

Taxes are always payable....

Here's the site to look over since you are 'doing' business & making money.

Canada Revenue Agency

Oh and just one more question what if I bought US, Canadian or UK stealth accounts fully verified and switched them every week to accept payments of about $2000-3000/week? Would that be a wise move?

Impossible, a Stealth is like a small baby feeding on milk and has to grow before eating hard food.

You will not be able to receive high payments for a few months.

Nope.

Regardless of country, new accounts need to be nurtured.

You can't just go into these high sales with new accounts - takes time to build.

As for using credit card processing services...if you aren't legit with ID and business registration (especially if you are dealing with 10-20k a MONTH), you will be shut down very quickly.
