For the last two months or so I have stealthily been setting up my ebay account, my pp account and letting it sit, bidding on items, browsing, etc. My IP was changed and my computer and cells are dfferent.

Last week I listed some random coffee pot--something old that I was only going to donate--and I receved the "You have reached your selling limit" message. "You have 0 or 0 items left to sell."

Then I was invited to verify my identity, same as before. I am beyond disgusted now. And I think pretty much done with these idiots---unless anyone has any mind-blowing suggestions?

Did you make the account with GV, text+ or some other free phone service?

I did. I used GV. Awww crap, was THAT my mistake? I thought that was safe--

You were probably linked somehow. I haven't had any of these problems. If you haven't already, and it looks like you didn't, you should get the stealth guide. There are many steps in avoiding detection.

I've had this problem only once and I believe it was as simple as linking IP. The old account that was established still works fine, but the new account was toast. But then again, when I realized the two IP linked, I immediately changed the ip on the original account.

No, I was uber-careful. Changed (and confirmed my IP change).
Got new laptop and new cell phone.
New address, new everything.
Listed one goofy item no one would even want, a coffee pot.
But....I used GV.

And, yep, followed the Guide like a bible for the past several months whle methodically setting up a new bank account---which confirmed, as well as renting new box mailing address (not post office box).

You could be linked as suggested in this post, or if you were careful it was probably the phone issue. Ebay has been cracking down lately.

So all I need is a burn phone. Ughhhhhh, wish I knew that!

Its a link.... Cookies maybe? email flash cookies? Do you have pictures blocked? Are you using ebay app....

Personally I never add real bank account or real address until I have at least $300 cleared in paypal...
