Not that I know of. Ebayhateluv used to have one; I can't seem to find the thread where she talked about it but there wasn't a pro or con about it that I remember.

yeah here is the note at the bottom:

" Note: The PayPal Security Key provides additional protection for your account. Order and activate the Security Key on your eBay account if you would like an alternative way to confirm your identity. "

Since when? The Key is for an extra level of security to thwart phishing attacks.

PayPal users who use the PayPal security key are reporting they are having problems accessing their accounts for the past few days.
The PayPal Security Key is optional and creates random temporary security codes that help safeguard PayPal account when logging in.

UPDATE 11/20/08: Some sellers now reporting intermittent problems with PayPal Shipping.

I would say then that being locked out of your own paypal account would well have negative effects. LOL. good old paypal. Only thing you can trust them to do is to muck about with your accounts.
HWGA confirms the lack of benefits of the gadget. Holidays approaching and no seller should have the time for paypal problems,tbh
