WTF limits raised under 3 months?
 

So I read that someone had this happen to them and then had some kind of a problem under their account?

This is the 2nd account this month that's got higher limits!!!! And the account only sold this month, and the account is not even 3 months old??? Did they change things up or what? Or maybe is it cause it's fully verified account on paypal?

Anyone else get this before 3 months? I remember last year when I would call in they said 3 months after 1st sold item!

I'm happy about it, but worries me.

I didn't even call in or anything. Last year I called in one accounts just with VCC and got 240 /$8k limits 1st call not even 1 item sold. But yeah this stuff kinda worries me a tiny bit.

It shouldn't worry you.. you just lucky.

I have had mine increase to 80 items after the first month of selling on a new account.

I would be more worried about the accounts which limits dont change lol

Oh yeah your up this early cause it's UK over there time frame.

Yeah some account brands sell faster then those that don't sell so I pulled out all the brands that sell the most over the last 12 months time frame for me!

I still got 9/10 accounts to do auctions but you know how sick I am of doing those!

This is good news then. I guess maybe in the USA/CAD they got to wait 3 months and it's different for us! They should have EU section and North America sec. Maybe they do I just never noticed it lol. And I'm not talking Eastern Europe either!

Oh man. Dude no I won't even touch USA/CAD ACCOUNTS! I stick with my EU accounts. That require no phone calls form PP/EB! If I need docs I can do it easily without SIN/EIN/Business numbers etc. EU accounts are sooooo different dude you can't even imagine! The people I speak to about EU accounts say that the ones in North America are a joke!

I don't even want to risk getting a CAD account, or US account and deal with the million and problems that come with it.

You guys require phones that you can't get sim cards alone. We get it dirt cheap! You guys pay a lot. No idea about the yearly limits but we don't get these problems. If I was to do CAD/US Accounts. I wouldn't sell on them personally. I would just sell those accounts on here as a seller. But only if I was to have 300's+ accounts with high limits only.

US/CAD accounts are a joke! They always patching up things FAST! And always putting problems on Phones, or prepaid cards etc. Just way to much for me to handle.

European accounts >/ North American Accounts.

Limits going up / HAHAH U WISH!
Cheaper sim cards / You need a whole phone to come with that!

It's just to much for me to deal with. I got one USA account but my main and it got 350 limit and $17,000 per month. I hardly sell more then $300 and frankly I like it that way. My EU accounts sell sell sell!!!!

whenever I got good info to share about CAD accounts. I always message you with it. Like with the phone last week and my US account remember?

Don't get me wrong, but US/CAD I HATE!!!!!

I swear. I was like WTF! Thank god this was my real info!

I have an account that I have sold about 10 items. I have 21 feedback. 11 are Buyer. They raised my limits from 10/1000 last month to 270/$27000 LMAO!!!

Yet I have an account that for 2 years I have been selling the max 10/1000 and never get a raise in limits.... Some accounts I made and some I bought.... Very random!

Under 3 months old!

Strange. I will make a few Canadian accounts in the coming weeks and test it out!

I've seen this recently too. I think it has something to do with the summer being their "off season" or something.


It's not a big deal. It will be taken away and/or restricted in some way. Just take the good as good when it comes, just as we take the bad as bad.

I mean it freaked me out because I read someone on here had this happen then a few days later some problems and bam!

Anyways I got 4 more accounts that got this limit raised over night. So this is great news! I must be doing good or something.....

But yeah at first it was scary because I was thinking something bad will happen. So far so good! :thumb:

Is your account US? That had this happen?

last year, Have 5 accts with 0/00. after 3 months all raises up 5/500. Any one like me????

Mini update one account that got a raise last month from 10/500 to 10/800 just got a 20/1600 now!

On the 9th of last month I had this and now on the 12th of this month.

I just checked the account every item sold I had on this account got me positive feedback buy buyers and only got 5 feedback only! :O I just got my 5th one last night! So now it's really 100% feedback left by all buyers at 100% POSITIVE feeedback.

So after 2.5 hours of getting my 5th feedback it went up. No idea if it's really 2.5 hours because my gmail account says one thing and feedback time frame stamp on ebay is another time frame but yeah just to give you an idea.

And the account finally hit 3 months old some time 1.5 weeks ago. But this is the 2nd raising limits on it for now.

Once a rep told me on the phone if you get 70% feedback left it will go up on it's own. SWEET!

And just for those of you out there. I do have a way of earning 20 feedback per week on my main account I do it yearly to get 960 feedback positive due to some lame buyers who leave me 1's yet a positive feedback etc. But I do this for my newer accounts after 4 to 6 months old to build up 20 feedback the last few days of the month before the limits reset. I did this for a friend of mine who sold iphone covers and he had like maybe 50 sales per month, I did this 20 feedback for him and left him all positives with 5 stars from US Accounts. Within 3 days he told me he had way more orders around 300 orders the next month and that it did boost and help him out. After that the sales dropped again back to like 30 to 50. I really think if the buyers leave you feedback it will rank you even more.

I guess feedback plays a large role in getting higher limits, I mean if you can't wait you can always call in to ebay to get a higher limit. No biggie. Just what I hate about your USA/CAD account is that they pull up your name, credit history and ask you questions with the EU accounts I got, none of this gets asked. And for most of you calling in on limits with names that they can't verify start speaking with a Russian/German/French/Irish accent and pretend you just came to the country it's why you don't have any history and you got there 2 or 3 months ago. This will avoid any type of background check or history. It's what I would do. Heck even when I call in for my EU accounts I do a British, German, Irish, French Speaking accent on the phone. My english is very perfect I have some words here and there but that's about it. I only speak my true voice on my 2 main accounts because I already verified it by passports etc.

If you can't get a voice with an accent watch a youtube video of people with accents for 5 minutes then go make that call. ;)

It's not 70%, as long as you have 40% of your buyers leaving you feedback you (in theory) should get a rise the next month, making sure DSR's etc are good and limits have been hit.

Also, in the first month of selling if you can get 15% conversion rate this also contributes. :thumb:

To me accounts with 10+ limits are pointless really. I only sell 2 items at a time even on my 240 accounts. no joke! The only thing I do is put like 75 of each item BIN when I do this.

If I had no limits I'd do like my main account but yeah I don't. For now!

Once I do I'll for sure make it like my main but in 18 months I'm quitting ebay/stealth and all. Working on a newer project until then I will do this.

Was some time last year they said to me "If you got 70% feedback from people that are positive the system will go up on it's own for you" something among those words.

And I've had one account not even close or anything like that and it went up. So I was thinking to sell 10 items and giving myself positive feedback on items worth $10 with real tracking just to see what's up! and how high it would go.

But then again I don't care to test this but thinking about it. Like I said before you can always call and get that raised. I had accounts I had called in last year 11 went up but 1. so it's not so bad. And this was before selling any items (also started to sell on some) and before listing I guess having some ID or VCC that passed helps. Or maybe the country I was in? Maybe the category I'm in? Who knows.

Ebay is like a complex women! Or a box of chocolate you never know what you gona get! MC999 or 100 $5000. lolll:laugh::pound:
