eBay Item buyer return, what if I not collect it
 

Buyer opened a case at PayPal and PayPal said him to send the item back.
What is going to happen in PayPal case if I refuse the postman to recieve the package ? After couple days it will go back to the sender (buyer in that case).
I have nearly 100% sure that the item is going back to me is counterfeit as also the buyer a scammer.

awhile back, I had a buyer that bought 2 phone cases from me. after 45 days, they opened a case stating items not as described through pp. my reply was, send it back in its original condition and i will refund the money. the item came back dirty and smelly. these ppl had to be the biggest pigs in the world. so i then contact pp to tell them that the item was filthy and reeked of smoke. pp had issue the case in their favor. but i was still reimbursed through pp. the transaction was around $50 total.

i think if you deny the postman, it will show in tracking and you will be screwed! but i am in the US also.

If you decline the package either as a buyer receiving an order you placed, or as a seller recieving the returned goods, you'll pretty much automatically lose your protection status for that case.

If you deny the package, the buyer will not only win the case but also have the item returned...so you would be out
