Ebay Seller Limits with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ Address
 

I'm using an ebay account for which I've used a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ (but real) residential address. If I want to raise my seller limits they want to send the verification code to my residential address. How do I get around this when I dont have access to the address on the account?

Have you clicked the 'request higher selling limits' button as most of the time they just make you link to paypal?

Its already linked to a paypal and I've got the 10/1000 limit. in the UK you request higher seller limits and they post a code to your house which gives 100/3000. Thats been 100% of my past experience anyway. However this account is totally stealth as I want it to last, hence real address.

If the account is making money and you want to run it long term. Invest small $$$ for the P.O BOX then you have full control of it. Spend money to make money.

There is no way you can get the mail from people mail box.

The PIN code only happens in a fraction of cases. It seems to be postcode based.

If you have no access to the address, do NOT request the letter be sent. Back out on your browser.

You will still get limit increases naturally so don't worry about this too much.

Okay, no problem. I didnt know ebay would accept PO Boxes for sellers addresses. I guess theres no logical reason why they wouldnt, just never occurred to me.

I've just clicked the increase selling limits button and this is the screen thats presented. Its asking me to confirm if my information is correct. Can anyone tell me if this is the 'send a pin to the home' screen or not?

Tick the box and hit continue.

You may need to repeat this bit again.

It is the screen that appears AFTER this one that determines what course of action to take.

You can get:

"Confirm identity with a bank account" - This option gives 25 / £750

"Confirm other account" - This is a glitch. There is a way to get the option above to reappear but I'm not posting it here.

"Confirm address with PIN" (something like that) - If you get this then just close the browser and re-open. Do NOT proceed with this stage unless you have access to the address.

I got the confirm address again..I've never had anything different than this one. Maybe I need to have some other info on the account to trigger one of the other two like maybe paying fees with bank instead of paypal perhaps?
