Stupid question or not?
 

Hi! I'm new about all these things, ebay suspended my buying and selling accounts indefinitely 4days ago, and luckily 2days after i found this. So purchased the book right away and finally found out the reason for my suspension. Now, still studying the book and taking down important notes. My question now is, if i open a checking account that comes with a debit card and use the checking on ebay/paypal for selling account and just add a vcc, can i use the debit card that comes with the checking account i opened to verify my ebay/paypal buying account? So that everytime i withdraw money to my checking, i can use the money for buying using the debit card. Are the 2 accounts gonna be linked that way? Don't really know if this is a stupid question or not coz i'm still stressed out about what happened to my accounts so my mind is still not functioning well. :(

any new checking account number will be OK to attach to a new stealth account

you're kind of asking an odd question - just use the VCC to confirm the account. thats what they're for. OR just use your accounts debit card - but you have to make sure your zip matches that of the stealth, which is not a very good idea anyways

new phone number, new address with new zip, new checking, new VCC. Confirm card and bank

Use a VCC. You are better off with them NOT having a real debit card attached to the account for a whole lot of reasons.

Thanks for your reply prowakeskater, my concern about prepaid card is that there's always fees when i add money on it everytime i want to buy something on ebay, but if i use the debit card of my checking account, i don't have to pay any fee.

If you want to use eBay for purchases also, I recommend you creating a separate stealth account just to do that. This way it's not tied to your sales and you'll feel safer adding your debit card.

Another thing you can do is just use a gift card on the paypal side as a credit card to pay.
figure out how much stuff you tend to buy in the span on 1 year and buy a gift card around that value, so that you only have to pay the $5 for the gift card once.

I'm also curious why ebay suspended my buying and selling accounts but did not suspend the one that i opened on ebay.fr

probably just a matter of time. It may slide under the radar being in a different country though.

I would immediately treat that account as a stealth. New user profile, new IP.
