Chrome portable is going sweetly for me now. I made sure to remove normal chrome from my desktop in case i accidently went through hat browser, instead of through one of the folders. I use chrome portable over firefox portable because i have many foreign language Ebays and i have found that nothing comes close to Google Translate on other browsers.

But ordinarily I hate Google stuff, as dmshark said everything is linked together.

I am sorry but though being sellin online since 1997, my computer abilities are not that good, hehe.

I understood from the stealth guide, that if we create different Windows users there wouldn't be the need to delete cookies on each of them. As they would be saves on the cookies folder for each separate windows user. Am I right?

I did not disabled adobe flash. :help:

this looks like it will save time but do you have an alternative to changing your ip address rather then taking the dongle in and out till you have a clean address ?

If you have different Windows user, it's ok and you should have everything separated, UNLESS you use the same account to login to chrome account and have bookmarks synced between devices.

Unfortunately my internet company will not provide a new IP, unless I end our contract with them and sign a new one (third world country rules)

So in the meantime I have decided to use my old restricted for selling IP connection for my everyday internet use. This is the main Windows user. ANd for the other 3 windows user I use a different dongle when I list things. And start a new windows session everytime.

Just concerned cookies will not mix between user accounts, and ebay will catch me again.

just make sure you keep a list of each ip address used for each account

you don't need a different dongle for each account either as each time you plug it in it will give a different ip address.

those who use firefox or chrome portable do you use a dif user on your pc or this is not needed, you just download numerous versions of the firefox portable and label it for each account you need. So for example, if you have 50 accounts you use 50 firefox portable icons under the same user on your pc ??? is this correct ?

I'v been using Multiple profiles now for 6mo and I have yet to get linked. Also I've read somewhere that cookies are kept separate from different profiles, this is coming from the Google Dev team.

I started testing the google portable chrome like a month ago and everything works fine, downloaded 3 portable chrome version, named the folders under the stealth names, started selling like 3 weeks ago and everything works great. I'm a little bit worried only when i'm deleting cookies using CCleaner because it deletes all the cookies from everywhere so the ebay/amazon system might use some kind of software to link the 3 accounts if the cookies of all of them being deleted the same day once a week. So far everything works great and it saves couple of minutes each week on switching accounts and it much more comfortable but its up to you if it worth the risk and your time.

Thanks but I was referring to the ability to switch between accounts with the main chrome browser, not the portable one. The 'switch person' tab at the top supposedly allows you to have multiple users on the same brower install everything is kept separately.

dont forget, you can also be tracked by computer name and flash cookies, dont forget about them.

just stay on top of your flash cookies. just to be safe there's a program that deletes your flash cookies every second.

or just switch them off in your flash manager.

or both.

In my opinion, having more than 1 account on a single PC is a big NO. One day, something will mess up in your multi-user setup, and all of these accounts will get banned. Don't try to save a couple of bucks, get a VPS ;-)

Easily done with VMware, I manage a TON of accounts on one computer, never any problems

Hi 123, a ton of accounts on one windows user ID on one PC? How do you name each VMware? Can the different but similar method to name the VMware be detected ?

Each account goes into a dedicated VM, no problems.

Interesting! Just wish my main line didn't have dedicated IP. My dongles often do not release the IP unless I do a restart and sometimes complete shut down.
