Another EIN question, not sure if I understand correctly

Having a DBA right now but we will file for LLC soon (for different reasons).

We had a business PP account under the DBA name, let's say "BoomBox".
This PP got limited a while ago, did not know how to operate stealth properly that time :s.

Would it link if we choose "BoomBox LLC" as the new legal entity?

I understand that IP, email, address, phone etc has to be different.

I think we might change it to a totally different name then.

I want something our customers could remember easily
