Open new pp acc, so they need ID ?
 

Hello,

Is it common practice that PP ask for ID scan or address confirmation for new accounts ?
I mean about creating pp acc for xxx details, which in that case can make a problem later.

Did you try to sell right away? What exactly did you do with the account? It isnt so common for ID request right away...unless you were linked too....explain processes

No, no. I am going to open stealth. What I've asked for is that I am wondering about.
Do pp ask for ID scan of address confirmation after some period of time ?
Why I'm asking is that because I want to open an acc on imagine details (will be difficult to answer for such call to send ID). Will that be okay ?

It depends where the PP is based. In the EU PP will ask for certain ID's when the account hits certain thresholds (£1650 in the UK) and will limit the account if they are not received before a secondary limits (£1900 in the UK)

I am talking about Poland. Sorry didn't write it before.
So how you guys do with multiple accounts running fine ?
I'm asking because the idea I had is to open the acc with imagine details, but there might be a problem with ID what pp will or won't need, who knows...

You can operate the account without going over the EU limits.

There are other methods available as well.

You rotate sales between several accounts to stay below limits

Paypal will ask whenever their system flags accounts.

Certain steps need to be covered prior to making an account.

EU accounts have anti-money laundering regualtions to meet as well.

As an aside, I performed a credit check and there was a recent addition where PP were checking me out (due to the EU regulation quoted above).

It was on my Equifax or CallCredit report. It had an entry re money laundering - part of EU regs, I suspect.

It could be that the VCC or the way you tried to verify the account with a credit card was a bad batch and they want ID to verify you.

We all have to keep in mind that PayPal can have different operating procedures in different countries.

Someone recently pointed out that PayPal now has a subsidiary in the EU that is considered a bank - maybe this is a part of that?

To the OP: PayPal does not normally ask for ID, that we know of, but they CAN if they want to. Make sure the IP address is listed in the country you are opening the account in. Take all of the other steps outlined in the stealth guide as well. If done correctly, you should be fine.

I used a bad batch of VCC that was flagged and I had to send ID's for all the newer accounts. So something got linked or flagged along the way.
