Can a instantly verfied VBA cause problems with listing forst item?
 

Hello everyone, I had a question I opened my first stealth account with A VBA since I dont want to risk losing a checking account but when I came to post my first item it wouldn't let me post and gave me a message at the the top saying I am not allowed to list but I didnt receive an email or anything so I was wondering could this be from Instantly verifying the VBA account? Thanks

Did you create a EB account or an EB seller account?

Does it show your limits as being 0/$0.00 when you go to the Selling page?

Instantly verifying a VBA will not harm anything.

I opened it as a normal ebay account then opened a selling account but didnt add a VCC just linked my paypal and added it as the automatic payment method.

Honestly I didnt check what my limits are before I tried to list but after i went to check and its not showing me.

I'm a little confused.

So you opened an eBay BUYER account first,
opened a paypal account but only added a VBA, correct? But didn't lift the withdrawal limit with a vcc.?

THen you proceeded to add the paypal to your eBay to sell your first item?

First I opened a Paypal added the VBA then added a VCC after all that I signed up for ebay then went and signed up to sell then linked my paypal and made it my automatic payment...did i do anything wrong?

What exactly did it say when it told you you were not allowed to list? Did it say you have selling limits of 0/0? If so, what service did you use for a phone number?

Were you trying to sell right away? At what point did you notice you couldnt list? Did you even create an auction?

Might need a run down of what exactly you did.

Bit hard to follow to give good help.

Also what bank's VBA might be pertintent.

It said I cannot List any items and didnt say anything about the limits...and im using tracfone

It was the next day and I did a buy it now you think that would of been the problem?

1. opened a paypal and added CC and VBA got everything verified
2. registered for ebay then signed up for a sellers account and got the 4 digit code
3.linked paypal and made it my automatic payment method
4.next day I posted a high risk item as a BIN

Lol yeah high risk.. If you are listing that as your first item then your account isnt going to last that long.

I've listed a high risk item as my first item.

I have accounts that had a ps4 listed as their first item when it just came out, and they are still going strong today.

Not saying you should run your stealth this way (chances are you will get canned and ebay only gets stricter), but it is possible.
