new ebay stealth account closed in few days!! All new info.Why?
 

Just made new ebay stealth act. Everything new. it got closed in a wk!
I posted 1item,waited a few days. Then posted a few more. Then waited and posted again. Had about 6 then shut down?!

How could I have gotten linked? Ebay have some new tracking methods?

The only thing I can think is the vpn Ip I used was associated with another
account NOT mine. I use vpn service and they are static. I never use same
ip.

I also used a vcc. any chance they re-use those and gave me one used on a suspended act?

I just don't know what else it could be. I did't reuses anything to old act.
I can't keep wasting time and money setting up these stealths and then they get burned immediately.

Any ideas on this?

What was the message in the email?

If you account is linked to another one, you will always be given the id you are linked to.

Are your accounts US Accounts?? And a are u in the US.? I see your flag says you are

If so there are many ways to change an IP that are better than a VPN

It could have been a number of things: the VPN service you used, the items you listed, phone service you used.. without more details it's hard to tell.

I am willing to bet combo of vpn and items sold...are you into high risk activity?

Using the wrong VPN provider can easily cause you problems especially if they give everyone the same ips.

I don't think high risk items. No brand stuff. I was selling some hunting equipment and few misc. other sporting items. I only had 6 things posted.

the message said the account was closed to protect ebay community and something along the lines of high risk activity or something, can't remember now. Just a typical shut down notice.


I have used this vpn service for over year and never had act closed before but this could be my lucky ip # as I used a new one. Yes Us act.

Definitely try something else other than a VPN. It may or may not be your problem, but it's the one thing that stands out as a reg flag.

The VPN may have worked for a while for you and that's great, but Ebay is always changing and as stealth users, we have to make changes as well to keep up. A year is plenty of time for other people to use and abuse that VPN. Tethering, hotspots/dongles, changing your home internet's IP, dial-up... all are much better options for making stealth accounts that are available to those in the US. You could even get a VPS for roughly the same price that you pay for your VPN, if you are only running one account.
