Confirming your selling account Questions.
 

Hi Guys.

Was wondering maybe we can compile here a list of questions eBay representative asks you when you call them and want to lift your selling limits.
The identity confirmation questions. Soft Security questions. Or whatever the correct name is...

I start with:

Your previous place you lived in?

"Hello, can you please verify your name? Thank you for that and for security reasons can you give me your registered email address?..."

It really depends, they ask you for the email registered on the account, address, phone number, name, where you get your items from.

USA Accounts:
They might even ask you credit questions if you owned a car in the past what car model was it from what year. If you use to have a business registered, if so what was the name and they'll give you an A. B. C. D. question like that. Also the security questions on the account if there are any. Such as "what was my nick name as a child" or "what was my favorite toy" etc. What was your address before A. B. C. D.

I hardly call anymore because my limits go up on their own. Most will tell you not to call in and let the limits go up on their own also. Get more stealths if you want more limits to be on the safer side.

You might even have to send them an invoice of your products to them by fax or upload really depends.

And if you say something wrong or don't get the answers correct oh boy. You'll wish you never called and you an hear your own heart beating at this point.

They will most likely ask you questions based on the name/address you give them. Since you are using stealth information, you won't be able to answer the questions correctly (if you even pull up database questions).

It takes forever to connect to an ebay rep, they take forever to go through the process, then you have a higher probability of failing than getting higher limits. It's much easier to just sell to your limits and let it rise naturally.

I never had the limits ho up by themselves.
